Steamed Salmon with Sweet Peppers and Tomatoes
Salmon is rich in omega-3 fatty acids that can maintain the health of our heart, brain and eyes. With rich colours of tomatoes and peppers, making it a healthy and delicious dish.

Ingredients (Serve 1):
- Fresh salmon fillet 1 piece
- Tomato 1 piece
- Red sweet pepper 1/2 piece
- Yellow sweet pepper 1/2 piece
- Onion 1/4 piece
- Garlic 2 cloves
Seasonings:
- Olive oil 1 tablespoon
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Dice the tomato. Slice peppers and onion. Chop the garlic. Mix well with olive oil in a large bowl.
- Pat dry the salmon and season with salt and pepper.
- Lay vegetables on a piece of foil. Put the salmon on top and wrap the foil into a parcel. Place it in the steamer for approximately 10-15 minutes. Serve hot.
Cooking tips:
- Soaking salmon in milk for 30 minutes can eliminate the fishy odour.
- You may adjust the cooking time according to the thickness of salmon fillet.
- You can add lemon juice to eliminate the fishy odour when you eat.
