Liver Cancer Awareness Month 2025
Liver cancer is one of the most common cancers in Hong Kong, with a higher incidence and mortality rate in men than in women. Most patients are over the age of 50. In its early stages, liver cancer often presents no obvious symptoms and is typically diagnosed only in the middle or late stages. As a result, it has become the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in Hong Kong, affecting thousands of lives every year.
Early detection, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and receiving appropriate support can make a significant difference for patients and their families. Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centre is committed to providing holistic support for those affected by liver cancer. From emotional counselling to nutritional guidance, we offer free and professional services to help patients and their loved ones navigate this challenging journey.
Join us in standing with those living with liver cancer and bringing strength and hope to those in need.
