Maggie’s Centre 10th Anniversary Open Day - Mind, Body & Spirit Workshops and Guided Tours

The Centre has reopened since easing the pandemic situation earlier this year.  To mark the 10th anniversary of our Centre, we would like to invite you to join our Open Day on this special occasion.

Come and spend a leisurely weekend with our users and experience the healing environment of our Centre. You can learn more about our services and support for cancer patients and carers, participate in our mind-body-spirit workshops, and better understand our users' needs and challenges.

* The guided tours and workshops will be conducted mainly in Cantonese.

With a donation of HKD$500, you can join one of the workshops and enjoy a free guided tour afterward. All proceeds from the donations, after deducting necessary expenses, will be used for cancer patients and their families to enjoy a series of mind-body-spirit courses, including but not limited to mindfulness, nutrition, yoga & sports and aromatherapy workshops, enabling patients to maintain their health and enhance their confidence during treatment or recovery.

During the guided tour, we will introduce you to the unique architecture and gardens, as well as how each space and facility is designed to meet the needs of cancer patients and caregivers. Our users will also share their personal experiences to help you understand how your donation has helped them rebuild hope.

In addition, there will be charity booths prepared by our Centre's users and volunteers, featuring handmade items made by our knitted prosthetic breasts volunteers and quilling flowers made by our users. Each item is unique and thoughtful, and we welcome you to come and support our cause.
